My wings are spread, my pain is gone-Do grieve for me-but not for long.
For wondrous peace surrounds my flight-I’m gliding towards that ray of light.
So grieve for me but not for long-Remember blessings not the wrong.
My life was full and so complete-Although the end was bittersweet.
You brightened up my everyday…By things you’d do, by things you’d say.
I’ll miss my life with you on Earth, but know you gave my life it’s worth.
I’m gliding towards a perfect place-No pain or sorrow, only grace.
My wings are spread, I’m soaring strong…Do grieve for me, but not for long.
miss you love theresa xxx

I Watch the Sunrise........

I Watch The Sunrise

I watch the sunrise lighting the sky,
Casting its shadows near.
And on this morning bright though it be,
I feel those shadows near me.

But you are always close to me
Following all my ways.
May I be always close to you
Following all your ways, Lord

I watch the sunlight shine through the clouds,
Warming the earth below.
And at the mid-day, life seems to say:
I feel your brightness near me.
For you are always . . .

I watch the sunset fading away,
Lighting the clouds with sleep.
And as the evening closes its eyes,
I feel your presence near me.
For you are always . . .

I watch the moonlight guarding the night,
Waiting till morning comes.
The air is silent, earth is at rest
Only your peace is near me.
Yes, you are always

A MESSAGE FROM HEAVEN

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, 'I welcome you.'
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.'

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......'My day was not in vain.'
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made someone smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me...

When tomorrow starts without me and I am not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes are filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you loved me, as much as I loved you,
And each time you think of me I know you’ll miss me too,
But, when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand ,
That angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.

When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart ,
For every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.

But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible, That I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had
If I could re-live yesterday, Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you And maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized, That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home
When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne.
He said, 'This is eternity, And all I've promised you.'
Today your life on earth is past, But here life starts anew
I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way, There's no longing for the past.

You have been so faithful, So trusting and so true.
Though there were times, You did some things, You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven And now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand And share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

Thank you

Its time to say, Thank you for the five beautiful pearls
Which we found in the ocean together,
Many have envied from what we gather
But the love and joy of having the pearls
I know are priceless to you and me.

Time has come

The time has come for you to go up heaven's door
There was just time for you to say goodbye
For those you loved, and those you thought loved you
Were not there by your side,
When God cradle you in his arms
It was a blessing for all those near you
To see you in pain no more.

Tribute to the Five Fitzsimons children and family

I am just a passerby
Reading what had come by
A very dear father who went to the promiseland
Everyone in the family contribute a vital part in
Giving their father the care, unconditional love, peace and joy of him knowing who is who - to the end
When the time came you all had to let him go
To lessen his pain and suffering
Adious and in sweet slumber.

Things have come and go
But lovely memories linger on
The pictures I have seen say a thousand words
A loving family still stand united
Praise to you all good children
As you are one in a million!

The Fields of Athenry - one of Dads favourite songs

By a lonely prison wall
I heard a young girl calling
Micheal they are taking you away
For you stole Trevelyn's corn
So the young might see the morn.
Now a prison ship lies waiting in the bay.

Low lie the Fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly.
Our love was on the wing we had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry.

By a lonely prison wall
I heard a young man calling
Nothing matter Mary when your free,
Against the Famine and the Crown
I rebelled they ran me down
Now you must raise our child with dignity.

Low lie the Fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly.
Our love was on the wing we had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry.

By a lonely harbor wall
She watched the last star falling
As that prison ship sailed out against the sky
Sure she'll wait and hope and pray
For her love in Botany Bay
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry.

Low lie the Fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly.
Our love was on the wing we had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry.
